About Stavanger Drone
Stavanger Drone is a drone company for surveying, volume measurement, inspection and aerial photography, operated by Nextify Media AS (org. no. 933 578 216) from Sandnes — serving all of Rogaland, Norway.
What we do
We deliver measurement data and documentation from the air: surveying and mapping, volume calculations, construction site documentation, LiDAR scanning, thermal surveys and inspection — plus aerial photo and film. Our customers are contractors, municipalities, industry and property companies that need numbers they can trust, not raw files to process themselves.
How we deliver
Every job starts with a short brief on scope, accuracy requirements and format. We fly planned routes with RTK-corrected GNSS, process and quality-check the data, and deliver finished products — normally within 3–5 business days, with a quality report. Response time in Rogaland is typically 24–48 hours, and you usually get a quote within one business day.
Regulations and safety
All flying happens within the EU drone regulations and the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority's requirements, with air traffic clearance where needed — much of the region sits inside the zones around Stavanger Airport Sola. DJI Matrice 350 RTK
The workhorse — RTK precision at 1 cm + 1 ppm horizontal accuracy, platform for all the sensors below.
Zenmuse P1
45 MP full-frame photogrammetry — orthophotos at 1–2 cm/pixel, terrain models and 3D.
Zenmuse L2
LiDAR capturing up to 240,000 points per second with up to 5 returns per pulse — reads the ground beneath vegetation.
Zenmuse H30T
40 MP zoom and thermal camera (1280×1024, < 50 mK) — inspection of roofs, solar installations and power lines.
DJI Mavic 4 Pro
100 MP photo and 6K video — aerial photo and film, often on the same job as the technical deliveries.
